My works  have been shown in various  festivals  and exhibitions such as Olympia Experimental Music Festival, Offf 2009 catologue, Kurye video art festival, 3th.Upgrade International Gathering video screenings, Appliances 8, Light night leeds festival, Resfest digital film festival, G-Design fair, Spektro Experimental music festival, Viedram video and sound design festival...... you can see my works from here : www.csismn.com

Tell me about this film, initial idea and work process.
Edicisum is one of the shorts I feel most proud of. It came about when an experimental music musician in London called ‘Isambard Khroustaliov’ asked me if I would be interested in producing a music video for his piece ‘Musicide’. I found his music refreshing, so I agreed. So Edicisum was entirely created through the imagery that came into my head while listening to the piece. This was the first time I had based a project solely on sound. I can say that almost every scene was created using a different technique. Some entailed computer graphics, 3D, images scanned in (meat for instance), and some recorded footage that was manipulated after. I tried have the imagery suit the texture of the sound. I can say that there was no set procedure involved. I left everything to its own flow, as I do with almost all my projects. After it was complete, it premiered in London and recently, 3 monthsago, it was awarded the best sound video at the ‘Viedram Festival’ in Italy. It was also featured on the website motionographer.com.

Are you working on new projects at the moment?
Yes, there is too much project in our company  - silo1. At the moment we are producing one music video for one turkish rock group, you can look our last works from here: http://www.vimeo.com/silo1
I am also working on an ongoing film project with one of my friend Deniz Kader  called ‘Surface’. You can watch the trailer of surface from here: http://www.vimeo.com/3087461

Do you have specific influences in your film/video making?
Of course, I can say some influences words for me ; sounds , abstract, contrasts, improvisation meaningless, emotions, process, synchronicity, simplicity, variety, manipulation, evolution, organic/mechanic, ambiguity .... also  i  can say  the directors that i like most : Robert Seidel, Chris Cunningham, Dvein, György Pálfi, Quayola, Semiconductor , bruno aveillan.

Why is it important for you to show your film/video in a festival?
I like to share my feels and point of view with the people, and with sharing i'm finding more opportunity for creating new things.

What role do you think Oslo Screen Festival should have to promote your work?
I'm also curious about this :)..... also thanks for this interview, i participate to a lot of festival but this is the first festival interview for me, great promotion for artist ....
